Customer Testimonial: Philip Barr, Mid North region, SA
After upgrading to a 15.2m Geringhoff flexible draper front, Philip Barr increased capacity to 60t/hr and significantly improved harvest efficiency in challenging terrain.
Dean Gobbert is a farmer in Dirranbandi, Queensland, 580km West of Brisbane. The 53,000-acre farm has been family-operated since the early 1990s by Dean, his brother Jason and father Stan, and is largely a wheat growing enterprise.
Dean recently purchased an Elmer’s Haulmaster 55T Chaser Bin as he required a higher capacity chaser bin for the long runs on the farm.

53,000 Acres of wheat
Production drops when there are no good quality bins. With the logistics of our situation and our big runs, a good chaser bin is of massive importance. The Elmer’s chaser bin helps with our productivity due to the amount it can hold as it is a while before it gets to the truck to unload.

The Gobbert’s Haulmaster is also equipped with Elmer’s exclusive Haulmaster Connect wireless scale system which offers in-depth load tracking based on crop type, paddock, truck, and bin, and has a direct scale connection.
Dean says that the fast-unloading rate, pivoting spout, the full-length clean-out door and Elmer’s Powermaster direct drive gearbox are some of the additional features he particularly enjoys on the Haulmaster.
Being able to load into a truck without being over or under weight is sensational. Taking the guesswork out of how much we are unloading into trucks is even better. The amount of grain we can hold and the unloading rate is fantastic. The pivoting spout is a great feature and having the gearbox on the front instead of chains or belts is a massive improvement and is much easier to service.
Dean added that he would happily recommend the Elmer’s Haulmaster to another farmer, “Yes, I would recommend the Haulmaster. I’d just get them to come over and look at it and it would be an easy sell.”

“Offsets or speed tillers can take three to four passes and still not get the clay incorporated properly. The Gregoire Besson does it in one go and leaves a firmer seedbed.”
